Breaking out of my comfort zone

Recently, a friend asked me to act as photographer at a gathering she was co-arranging. My friend is Angela Tillman Sperandio -  one of the two powerful women behind the fantastic Hall of Femmes-project.

I was so flattered I accepted on the spot.
Only later did I learn that it was a Fashion Photography event and it was to take place at a famous NYC  Photography Gallery called Aperture.

Not the kind of situation where you would feel your most relaxed on your first photography assignment.



But I did it and it went fine. So perhaps will try to break out of the cuddly comfort zone more often.
