Acne Hex Straight-Leg Jeans in Lena Wash
I recently returned two pairs of the only kind of jeans I buy (Acne Hep in Lena wash as seen above).
I hate wearing jeans. I took the money and invested in Pilates with Elin instead.
If you know of any COMFORTABLE JEANS please let me know.
I want the feeling of jeans I remember from my teens.
Does that mean I have to go back to levi's? or should one just skip jeans altogether?

I'll assume you want to avoid any wide stitching and bling on the butt. (They only look cute if you are 15. It's a sure sign a woman is not comfortable with her age and there is nothing hot about insecurity.)

Do you have a Levi's store anywhere? They will custom make jeans to your measurements in the fabric, cut, color, and wash of your choice.

I also really like both Citizens for Humanity (my dressier pair in the Kelly cut) and Joe's Jeans (in the Ex-Lover cut and the Cigarette cut).

The trick to comfy jeans is the fiber content and thickness of the denim. Softer denim (thinner) with 2% of something stretchy (elastin, lycra...) added to the cotton is a good.

Get a cheaper pair in a boyfriend cut for everyday wear. And then go a little spendier on the dressy pair. I have found I can be happy with 2 pair of good jeans that I love or miserable with 6 pair I don't like.

For hanging out at home, I like Gap's Long and Lean, for going out I am a huge fan of Paige, Hidden Hills and Rising Glen.

I hope that helps!

I only buy Lucky Brand. I try to buy them when they are on sale. They make a good, basic jean. I would recommend trying one several styles to see what you like best. I personally go for the ones that have a little give in the hips and thighs. The "boyfriend" style that is my fav.

save it all for pilates. it will always make you feel better, whereas even just the search for jeans is a soul-sucking enterprise in futility.
