You English speaking humans call contemporary times just that. You call the past the past and the future the future.
Swedes don't.
We call contemporary times now-time. Past time is then-time. The future is ahead-time.
Nutid. Dåtid. Framtid.
now-time.
can't get more contemporary than that.
