OH polaroid. how could you leave us?
They didn't leave. They even have a digital camera that prints on 2x3 sticky-back photo paper. It is called the PoGo. But it doesn't work so well with the jingle:
"Meet the PoGo, the Polaroid PoGo."
It is missing something. Something fun and light and something with actual meaning. The Swinger was a much better name. Carefree, go anywhere, says yes every time. Leads one to think of all kinds of situations where you might need a photo instantly. Or maybe one you were afraid to send your film to the Fotomat where Aunt Kathy works weekdays during the school year.
I'm sorry. Is no one hitting play on this clip? This thing is seriously funny in a "looking back at past cultural/social mores" kind of way.
