Recipe for happiness

I'm a happy person. We've been through this before. But it's true and I often get asked why I'm so happy. I TELL YOU HOW TO BE HAPPY

Surround yourself with great people

Love your job

If you don't love your job, leave your job

If you can't leave your job, find life beyond job

Dance, daily

Sing daily, especially if you believe you can't sing

Eat chocolate

Run

Take every opportunity to laugh

Limit shopping. Shopping doesn't bring the happiness. Am serious.

Have children in your life. They don't need to be your own.

MAKE SURE THE CHANNEL TO YOUR OWN INNER CHILD REMAINS WIDE OPEN! THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS OF ALL since it means you will never cease to marvel at both small and big things you see, around you, every day. Also, staying in touch with your inner child gives you permission to be ridiculous which is a great way to achieve happiness.

Find art that works for you.

Wear shoes that lets you be a person. A person who can actually walk, even run, freely.

When possible, climb trees.

Make peace with yourself.

That's all.

  1. You are SO RIGHT about limiting shopping. Best decision I ever made.

  2. Your inner child will always be the one to take the very reasonable position: "You have chocolate in the fridge? You don't have to do math homework anymore? The kids didn't push snow down your pants? Then stop complaining!"
