the truth as I know it
it is FANTASTIC. totally amazing--i wish i had seen it in the theatre in 3-D. just the opportunity to see paintings as stunning as these, paintings that were created over 35,000 years ago--it's mind-boggling. herzog's narration is great, too. completely hypnotic. i'll have my sister bring it to you, if you want.
+1. I did see it in 3D at a movie theater. I imagine it's wonderful without, but the 3D made it astounding, really. No arthouse cinemas in Stockholm showing it in 3D? You should bug them until they do.
it really makes you feel like part of humanity, instead of wishing that humanity were locked in another room, far away from you. the creative drive, the urge to be remembered, to be known, to make things, to communicate with others and record what one sees...it's all astonishing. the paintings are so spectacular, too.
WOW!!!! NOW WANT TO SEE IT MORE THAN EVER!!!!
I welcome any comment, so happy to hear from you.
