Dear shoe wearers

These are the kind of shoes I dream about. Top, Paul Smith, below, Vibram Five Fingers.
They might look different from each other but they have a lot in common: they appeal to the same woman.

you do run to extremes, don't you?

to me, neither pair is extreme these days. But the golden ones I will have to pass on. Remember what happens when I buy gold shoes? I can't wear them. But I take great care of them.

sometimes taking care of shoes well is the best thing you can do for them. and then i re-read this post and it was like YOU wrote that episode of MadMen.

I have Five Fingers and love them, but the gold shoes don't appeal to me at all...

It's my inner Joan screaming she needs them.

Oooooh, I love the golden slippers. I will take care of them and love them even if I can't wear them. (I have a whole closet full of such things.)
