L'Hotel Amour
Rue de Navarin, 75009 Paris

Don't let Niki be the last kid (that is, if you are going there with Anders, of course!)

I agree with Aymo. Stay at L´Hotel Amour. I haven´t personally stayed there but I met the owner last summer and judging from his personality the hotel can not be other then great.

Hotel des Grands Hommes at the Panthéon, Hotel Amour and apparently also Mama Shelter (haven't stayed there myself though). Enjoy!

It depends on how long you're staying for, but we went for a week over the summer and stayed in a holiday flat. It was lovely, cheaper than staying in a hotel, had loads of space, a kitchen, a washing machine. It was pretty, modern - and we were within seven minutes of the Eiffel Tower.

Not hotel amour. overpriced and underserviced in every way. Very nice for breakfast though.

is the hotel for you? you can stay here you know, but I get it totally if you want to be in the city. But we're pretty convenient in other ways (and of course free).
or is this a follow up search for your friend and her kids? Not the Amour, it's a stupid trendy place and rubbish for kids. Mama Shelter is MUCH too far away from literally everything. The Hotel Pantheon is brilliantly located (right by the Pantheon) and not that terribly expensive, but suffers from the shortcomings of every hotel in Paris - small and pricey rooms. I'd go for an apartment rental myself - how many people is it for?

Definitely do an apartment rental! www.vrbo.com is one of many places. We found an excellent place right on Place d'Anvers (they have a great Friday market) for cheap, (out of season). Close to Rue de Martyrs, Sacre Coeur etc. If it's just for two I can try to find the link for the place....rented out by an Australian celebrity who loved to call and chat every few days!

Found it.

I would also go for apartment rental. I always stay that way during the fashionweeks and it feels so much more like home then. But, I normally do not pay more then 150 euros/night in Marais. Unfortunetly does "my apartment" only do 5 days or longer. How long are you there for?

If you go to booking.com you can sometimes get really good deals with 9 hotel. Also supernice.
