dear apple

When you designed the iPhone, did you think about us up here in the North, where it's so cold we can't take our gloves off to type on the touchscreen? You know what people do instead?
We use the tips of our noses.

Dignity may have been lost in the process, but what are the options, really?
after the iPhone, there's no going back.

it's all about the fingerless gloves or some other weird type gloves. apparently there's lots of products on the market for this problem - http://www.dotsgloves.com/

Muji also makes convertible mitten/gloves--with little cap that slips off the thumb so you can text. Sorry, no link!
