Dear world

Is there an upper age limit to wearing your hair in braids? I think there might be. What is it?

If there is...you are not even close yet, honey.

About ten years older than Yulia Tymoshenko is. Maybe more if one's plays their cards right.

No limit. Braids are wonderful.

Very good question! I think it depends on what you do with the braid(s). Pinned around your head works when you're older, as may the single long braid down the back. The two pigtail braids - not so sure. And two pigtails by the ears is not so cool when beyond 20. I wear that for running though... but then I look utterly uncool in every way when running.

I think the age limit for braids is the same as the age limit for grown women wearing short shorts...not young enough!

Boo on age limits! Wear your braids and your short shorts and whatever else you like and makes you happy. I am older than all of you put together, so you are of course obligated to sit up straight and pay attention.

Absolutely not. Here is the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Nelson>proof</a>.

What do you mean, Willie Nelson is not a fashion icon? Well, he should be...
