Etsy love

Saw this dress on Etsy (Dear Golden's shop), couldn't stop thinking about it.
So ended up buying it. LOVE IT SO MUCH. I would love to know more about it. Where did it use to live? Who did it dance with? What parties did it attend? Was it custom made? I think it was. There are no labels.

I only know this: the previous owner must not have worked hard on arm strength, had to let the sleeves out. Some lily armed person wore this before me. Who was she? I'll never know.

  4. oh my goodness! that's incredible. my friend patrick had a wire-hair fox terrier growing up named harry...in honor of the dirty dog. and the dress looks great! i once sent a fan letter to edward eager, as a child, as i loved "half magic" and "magic by the lake" so much. his widow wrote me back. it was thrilling!

  5. The dress looks perfect on you! What shoes have you paired it with? I never know what shoes to wear with a white dress.

  6. It's gorgeous! Shopping for vintage brooches on etsy almost became an obsession for me!

P.S. Went running yesterday morning before work but missed my yoga class today as the husband is ill and couldn't face looking after an extremely fierce toddler. :I Can't blame him, she was something today. Her screaming in the supermarket is still ringing in my ears.

  8. I'm still thinking whether to buy an iphone and join the running thing. In the meantime, I will stop hijacking this blog for my running stories.
