asking readers for advice - paris

So I'm going to Paris with Vanja and now I'm turning to you for advice on hotels. It doesn't need to be luxurious, but needs to be clean and with a central location. Central as in we'd like to go to the Louvre and I hope Vanja will think it'd be ok to stop by the Merci store.

Any suggestions?

my friends did the interiors for a taqueria called candelaria, worth stopping by, really good and the food is great apparently!

I stayed in Hotel du Sejour a few years ago and it was affordable, clean, friendly and very central. I highly recommend!

I'd suggest an apartment - if you like I'll look one up for you, maybe in the Marais? So excited you're coming!
