You all know I love KIND Deluxe knitwear. Well, now they've launched a new kid collection. And yes, it's awesome. With flirty lions.

The happiness of lunching with one of my best friends. The happiness of running into that first boyfriend and knowing he's doing fine. The happiness of seeing clients have paid the invoices ON TIME! The happiness of finding a dress that's 200% right. The happiness of getting my iphone back after a month of old-phone. The complete ridiculousness of photographing oneself in a "thoughtful, happy pose" and posting it on a blog.

Such a happy day for me.

Did you ever go out to buy something sensible like sturdy shoes or a great new coat at a reasonable price only to return with not sensible at all, (quite expensive too) red suede shoes?

I did once, and have never regretted doing so.

I love you, Chie Mihara, for making shoes like these, that don't even hurt my feet.

On ageing

I hope to age like Georgia O'Keefe, but might end up with a more Joan Rivers-y approach - at this point why rule anything out? Only thing I know is I'd be like Joan but without the make-up since I'm too lazy.

I might even surprise you by building up my face with the pieces Joan has discarded. Both now and in the future, we should all work to minimize waste.

Congrats on your first pregnancy! Am not at all jealous of you looking like this. Not at all. Do you know how much a nose job is these days and you can't even be sure of getting a Cottillardish result. Not to speak of a chin job and neck tuck. And forehead skin makeover.

Looks don't matter so much. Not so much at all. What matters is on the inside. Like thoughts of nose job.
