Today is World Refugee Day, but yes, everyday is

I know he wrote it differently, lounging in that leather seat, but the way I've always sang along with Englishman in New York is not 

"I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien

I'm an Englishman in New York"

But instead "Oh oh I'm an idiot, I believe in anything, I'm an idiot in New York".
Not sure how it happened. Perhaps because I'm an idiot in New York?
